Kathryn is currently the Founder/Master Teacher of the acclaimed actor training series Acting For Your Life!. She has directed and produced more than 50 main stage productions both on and off Broadway. An actor in her own right, she has been a featured guest of Seth Rudetsky on Sirius/XM Broadway's Best, and earned critical kudos in TimeOut NY and Backstage for her performances in KZ on Broadway, A Showcase With A Cause at Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center.

Currently, Kathryn teaches group classes and privately through her Acting For Your Life series  She is also touring with Herschel Zahnd III with various acting and film workshops, as well as a series of cabaret and swing concerts with their group Sentimental Journey. She is also completing a book, dvd and workbook series.

She holds her BA in Communication with a Theatre Concentration from Indiana University Southeast, and graduated from the Gregory Abels Training Ensemble (G.A.T.E.) in Manhattan. While at GATE she studied under the guidance of Sensei Gregory Ables. During her conservatory training, Kathryn also studied with Olympia Dukakis, Charles Kimbrough, Brian Murray, David Chandler, David Wells, and Per Brahe. She is a 3rd generation Master Teacher in the Adler/Stanislavski lin of teaching.

Kathryn is proud to be apart of Louisville's International Festival of Film as moderator of the annual Acting Seminar, and most recently enjoyed the warm reviews of her Nellie Lovett Sweeney Todd, produced by Renegade Art Productions in 2010. Previous notable roles include the critically acclaimed KZ on Broadway performance series at Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center and the Supper Club on 47th St in New York, twice as Elphaba in Wicked for BC/EFA & Leukemia/Lymphoma Society Charity showcases in Manhattan, Sally Bowels in Cabaret, Nora Helmer in Ibsen's A Doll's House, Isabella in Measure for Measure, and Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible.

And perhaps most importantly, she is the proud mother of Broadway Babies Emma Rose and Mimi Beane Zacharski.
